- This delegate is presenting an abstract at this event.

I am an early career researcher at The Peter Doherty Institute for Infection and Immunity at The University of Melbourne. I completed a PhD in Neuroscience in 2018 from The Florey Institute for Neuroscience and Mental Health at The University of Melbourne and a Master's of Environment Science in 2013. For two years I worked in one of the largest drug testing laboratories in the world, Racing Analytical where I was responsible for developing mass-spectrometry based methods for the detection of illicit substances in the racing and sports supplement industries. My interests are focused on developing mass-spectrometry based techniques to investigate changes in the metalloproteome following disease. Currently, I apply these skills to characterising metalloproteins required for pathogenic bacteria virulence.
